First newsletter of the year—let’s kick off with WHERE WE ARE MOVING THIS SUMMER! And also my 2026 word for the year, because I know you’re dying to know.
Happy New Year Dot from Wales! Mike Bianco here - we have made the move to Cowbridge Wales ( though our furniture is still on the way). Cowbridge is an old medieval market town about 15 minutes west of Cardiff. We hosted Christmas day from Amanda’s family which we’d never done before. I hope you all enjoy the move to New Delhi.Moving with with our dog Sox was enough for us. I have an audition for a Cardiff choir tonight and an audition for a spot with the BBC Wales chorus in February.
I have a Welsh word for the year -“cwtch” (Kutch)- a word that implies a sense of safety, warmth and home.
Break a leg at the auditions! I hope you find a wonderful new choir home. Glad to hear you guys made it through the move. It's tough waiting for your things, though!! Been there.
I hope you have an absolute blast in New Delhi! My favorite restaurant in the world is there - Coast Cafe in Hauz Khas. And the shopping and in-country travel are sooooo good.
